GOVERNMENT OF INDIA POST SSC FREESHIP / SCHOLARSHIP FOR RESERVE CATEGORY STUDENTS

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Reserve category students who have taken admission in the College are informed that it is mandatory to submit duly filled in free ship/ Scholarship Application Forms on or before 20thJuly along with the necessary documents to avail the benefit of Free ship/ Scholarship.
  • They are advised to refer notices pertaining to Free ship/ Scholarship displayed on the Notice Board from time to time. A detailed schedule for submission of duly filled in Application Forms will be displayed on the Notice Board.
  • As Parents Annual Gross Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar is an important document required for sanction of Scholarship/ Free ship, students are advised to immediately commence the procedure to procure the same, so as to submit it on or before 20th
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by Tahasildar is an important document required for sanction of Free ship to students belonging to OBC, SBC, VJ and NT category whose Parents Gross Annual Income is more thanRs.1,00,000/-. They are advised to immediately commence the procedure to procure the same, so as to submit it on or before 20th
  • They are informed that if they fail to submit duly filled in Application Forms along with the necessary documents within the stipulated period, they will be treated as Open Category students and will be required to pay Full Regular Fees.
  • Eligible Reserve Category students will be exempted from paying Full Regular Fees. The proposal will be sent to the Social Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra for its sanction. They will be required to pay the Fees not sanctioned Welfare Department in the Second Term.

REQUIREMENT FOR GOVERNMENT OF INDIA POST SSC SCHOLARSHIPS

  • Students belonging to ST category and whose Parents’ Gross Annual Income is less than Rs.1,08,000/-are eligible to apply for this Scholarship. Students will be required to submit Parents’ Gross Annual Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar.
  • Students belonging to SC, OBC, SBC, VJ and NT category and whose Parents’ Gross Annual Income is less than Rs 1,00,000/-are eligible to apply for this Scholarship. Students will be required to submit Parents Gross Annual Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar.

To avail of this Scholarship, students must submit the following documents along with the duly filled in Application Form as per the schedule displayed on the Notice Board:

  • Original and one attested copy of Parents’ Gross Annual Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar for the preceding financial year i.e. 1stApril to 31st March of the previous year.
  • Attested copy of the Caste Certificate in the name of the student issued by Competent Authority of the Government of Maharashtra. Students pursuing B.Sc. (Computer Science) & B.Sc. (Bio-tech.) Degree courses should also submit Caste Validity Certificate.
  • Attested copy of the First and Last pages of Ration Card as proof of permanent residence.
  • Attested copy of Mark sheet of the previous Examination passed.
  • If a student is residing in a Hostel, he/she should attach a Certificate from the Warden of the Hostel, stating the date of joining the Hostel along with Lodging and Boarding charges.
  • If a student has a gap between two academic years, he/she will be required to submit Court Affidavit explaining the reasons for the gap period.

SCHEME OF MERIT-CUM-MEANS BASED GOVERNMENT OF INDIA POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO THE MINORITY COMMUNITIES.

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of Minority Communities so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis) have been notified as Minority Communities under Section 2I of the National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992.

CONDITIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS:

  1. Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less then 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the gross annual income of whose parents’/ guardians’, from all sources does not exceed Rs 2 lakhs.
  2. There are a fixed number of scholarships for minorities and the number is small and limited. Students from Below
  3. Poverty Line families, having the lowest income shall be given preference in the ascending order. The renewal applications would be fully exhausted before the new applications are considered.
  4. Scholarship will be provided for the entire course. Scholarship will not be awarded for more than the normal period of time taken to obtain Certificate/Degree/M.Phil. Degree/Doctorate Degree. However, maintenance allowance will be given for a period not exceeding ten months only in an academic year.
  5. Scholarships will not be given to more than two students in a family.
  6. The award will be discontinued if a student fails to secure 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and is found to be irregular in attendance.
  7. The scholarship once awarded, may be renewed during the next academic year of the course on the production of certificate that the student has secured 50% marks in the examination.
  8. If a student violates any other terms and conditions of the scholarship, the scholarship will be suspended or cancelled. The State Government/Union Territory Administration can also directly cancel the award if duly satisfied of the reasons of violation of these regulations governing the scheme.
  9. If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement/certificates, his/her scholarship will be cancelled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered.
  10. The student obtaining benefits under this scholarship scheme shall not be allowed to avail of benefits under any other scholarship scheme for the same purpose.
  11. The rules and regulations can be changed at any time by the Government of India

REQUIREMENT FOR GOVERNMENT OF INDIA POST SSC FREESHIP

Students belonging to SC category and whose Parents’ Gross Annual Income is more than Rs.1,00,000/-are eligible to apply for this Freeship. Students will be required to submit Parents’ Gross Annual Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar or Form No. 16 Certificate under Section 203 of the Income Tax Act 1961 issued by the employer for the preceding financial year i.e. 1stApril to 31st March of the previous year.

Students belonging to ST category and whose Parents’ Gross Annual Income is more than Rs.1,08,000/-are eligible to apply for this Freeship. Students will be required to submit Parents Gross Annual Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar for the preceding financial year i.e. 1stApril to 31st March of the previous year.

Students belonging to OBC, SBC, VJ and NT category and whose Parents’ Gross Annual Income is more that Rs.1,00,000/-are eligible to apply for this Freeship. Students will be required to submit Parents’ Gross Annual Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar or Form No. 16 Certificate under Section 203 of the Income Tax Act 1961 issued by the employer for the preceding financial year i.e. 1st April to 31stMarch of the previous year. They will also be required to submit an attested copy of Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by Tahasildar.

Students should note that third male child is not eligible to avail the benefit of this Free ship.

To avail of this Free ship, students must submit the following documents along with the duly filled in Application Form as per the schedule displayed on the Notice Board:

Attested copy of Parents’ Gross Annual Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar or Form No. 16 Certificate under Section 203 of the Income Tax Act 1961 issued by the employer for the preceding financial year i.e. 1stApril to 31st March of the previous year depending on the category

Attested copy of the Caste Certificate in the name of the student issued by Competent Authority of the Government of Maharashtra.

Attested copy of the First and Last pages of Ration Card as proof of permanent residence.

Attested copy of Mark sheet of the previous Examination passed.

If a student is residing in a Hostel, he/she should attach a Certificate from the Warden of the Hostel, stating the date of joining the Hostel along with Lodging and Boarding charges.

In addition to the above-mentioned documents, students belonging to ST category will be required to submit the following documents:

Attested copy of student’s School Leaving Certificate.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ENCLOSED WITH THE APPLICATION FOR SCHOLARSHIP
Students should submit the following documents along with the Application Form:

  1. Attested photocopies of certificates of educational qualification (mark sheets) of the previous examination passed.
  2. For employed parents, Gross Annual Income certificate i.e. Form No. 16 Certificate under Section 203 of the Income Tax Act 1961 issued by the employer for the preceding financial year i.e. 1stApril to 31stMarch of the previous year.
  3. For self-employed parents, Annual Income certificate should be on self-certification basis by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 50.
  4. Attested photocopy of Ration Card as proof of permanent residence.
  5. Attested photocopy of Date of Birth Certificate.
  6. Attested photocopy of College Annual Fee receipt.
  7. Affix one recent passport size photograph with signature on the Application Form.
  8. If a student is residing in a Hostel, he/she should attach a Certificate from the Warden of the Hostel, stating the date of joining the Hostel along with Lodging and Boarding charges.
  9. Details of the Savings Bank Account viz. Name of the Bank, Branch, Address and Account number and nine digit MICR code number of the Bank.
  10. Minority Community declaration – affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 50/- by the student that he/she belongs to any one of the Minority Communities notified by Central Government.

Scholarships, Concessions And Freeships Scheme

The following scholarships, concessions & freeships are available for various categories of students in the college.

E.B.C. Scheme (For Economically Backward Class Students)

This scheme is initiated by Maharashtra State Government for the benefit of students whose parents have an annual income of up to RS. 15000/- per annum. These students are exempted from payment of tution fees. The students shall have to submit the income certificate of their guardian/ parent. Other relevant details are given in the college prospectus.

Free Education To Children Of Primary School Teachers (PTC) & Secondary School Teachers & Non Teaching Staff

These categories of students are exempted from tution fees subject to the condition that they have secured minimum of 45% in the last qualifying Board/ University examination.

Free Studentship To Children Of State Government Servants

Such students are exempted from payment of tution fees, subject to the condition that the basic pay of the parent of the concerned student is not more than RS. 15000/- per annum.

SC/ST/VJ/NT/SBC/OBC Scholarship Scheme

This is State Government Scholarship for the benefit of above mentioned categories of students :-

  • VJ/NT/ SBC/OBC Scholarships are given to these catagories of students subject to a certain income limitation of their parents. 100% scholarship is given to students whose parents have an annual income of upto 49000/-. 50% scholarship is given to students whose parents have an annual income in the range of Rs.49001/- to Rs. 65290/- Only freeship( exemption from payment of tution fees) is given to the students whose parents have an annual income of more than Rs. 65291/-
  • SC/ST Students get 100% Scholarship subject to the condition that their Parents annual income is upto Rs.1,00,000/- Only freeship is allowed to the students whose Parents’ annual income exceeds Rs. 1,00,000/-
  • Govt Open Merit Scholarship
  • Awarded to students who have secured 70% & above marks in the Board/ University examination.
  • Children Of Freedom Fighters.
  • Children of freedom fighters are due for a scholarship provided the freedom fighter has undergone more than 6 months imprisonment.

National Scholarships

Students is having featured in the Board/ University examination merit list and their parents having annual income of less than Rs. 25000/- per annum are entitled for this prestigious scholarship.

Scholarships For Physically Handicapped Students

This Catagory of scholarship is given to physicaly handicapped students. The student is entitled to receive an amount of Rs. 60/- per month. The concerned student has to produce a certificate to this effect from the civil surgeon.

Scholarships (M D PALESHA COLLEGE DHULE)

 

  • Shri. Chandrakant Joshi, donated Rs. 10,000 in fond memory of college ex. Student late kedar Chandrakant joshi. Through it two ar three needy & noble students from first year economically supported by its interest.
  • Needy students can be given economic support to pay their fees from the interest of Rs. 20,000/- donated by shri. Rameshchandra Mundada in found memory of college ex. Student late Rahul shyamsunder somani.

For the above mentioned scholarship students should apply when the notice arrive. Scholarship can be granted by surveying overall conditions.

Facilities for students

According to the govt. rule eligible students will get concession in fees & economical help from govt.

  • Economically backward guardians ( whose last year’s annual income is not more than 15,000) wards (E.B.C)

Students can apply for the following various scholarship.

National Merit scholarship.

(For F.Y.B.Com)
Students who secured more than 70% in H.S.C Feb/March exam can apply for national merit scholarship. Its conditions are as follows.

  • Guadians annual incomes limitation 25,000/-
  • Farms will be available from where students complete their 12th.
  • Enclose two Xerox copies of H.S.C mark sheet, two Xerox copies of annual income certificate & guardians affedevit along with the form.
  • Forms should be accepted up to August end otherwise forms will be rejected.
  • Students should always keep in contact with office & read the notice board regularly.
    Cash prize Rs. 100/- & application for merit certificate

Students who secure 70% in 12th & whose guardian’s income in mare than 25,000/- should apply for scholarship. They should attach two Xerox copies of 12th mark sheet & annual income certificate.

National Merit scholarship renewation.

(For second & third year commerce class)
Student whose national merit scholarship has been granted in the first year only those can apply for scholarship renewation form forms will be available in the office. Form should be attach 2 Xerox copies of mark sheet form should be submitted till August ends.

State Govt’s open Merit scholarship.

Students who secure mare than 60% in 12th exam can apply for this scholarship. There is no condition of income for this scholarship.

  • Forms will be available in the office.
  • Students should fill form & attach two Xerox copies of mark sheep.
  • Forms will not be accepted after the due date.

Scholarship schemes for backward & minority classes (S.C/N.T/S.T/O.B.C/S.B.C/)

Backward & minority students from college can apply for scholarship/ freeship facilities. Terms & conditions are as follows.
First year commerce student’s scholarship scheme.

  • Students whose guardians/parents annual income isn’t more than 1,00,000 can get the scholarship.
  • Forms will be available in the office in the given period from marning 9 to 11 clock.
  • Eligible students for scholarship freship should open his bank account in Dhule.

Account number should be infarmed till 15th August to the office the name of the bank will be informed during admission procedured. Following documents should be attach with the form.

  • Last year’s income certificate. 2 copies.
  • Cost certificate 2 copies.
  • Last years’s exam marksheet 2copies

Proof of obtaining last year’s scholarship/ orders number-2 copies.
